Shipping

FedEx Integration

Connect your FedEx account to create shipments from orders and pass tracking details to your customers.

What does the FedEx integration do?

International shipments

Create an international shipment record.

Rate lookup

Find out the price before shipping.

Tracking

The tracking number is written to the order.

What do you need before you start?

Having these ready before you begin will speed things up:

  • A FedEx business account
  • Live API keys obtained from the Developer Portal
  • Sender address and account number
  • Postcodes on recipient addresses

How do you set it up?

  1. Get your API keys from the FedEx Developer Portal.
  2. In the Fenikya panel go to Settings → Shipping.
  3. Select FedEx and enter your details.
  4. Verify with a rate lookup.

If you get stuck during setup, you can write to our support team.

Who is this integration for?

For sellers shipping internationally. Widely used on the US and Far East routes in particular.

Common problems

The keys don't work

Test keys generated in the FedEx Developer Portal are not valid in live; you need to regenerate them when going live.

Address validation error

FedEx validates the recipient address against its own database; if the postcode is missing or wrong the shipment can't be created.

Frequently asked questions

What if I don't have a FedEx account?

You need to open a business account with FedEx first and request API access.
